Uportal done at cal poly slo—they are willing to help us according to Jerry Hanley, CIO
Peoplesoft portal- Lydia Ortego- vendor in partnership with Peoplesoft. Discussion concerning real cost of implementation of portal
2008 oracle architecture will change for Peoplesoft and 2008 Peoplesoft implementation complete in CSU system
Monday 9:30 am overview for portal (peoplesoft)
One stop shopping
Working group looks at navsea mock up, bring to consensus in group, then to bats/tac, then to student focus groups for usability and omissions/suggestions. Which would lead to specifications

Summer '07 we go live with Peoplesoft student module
Can't do anything with student until Peoplesoft implemented

- COMPUTER SPEC.
Ian presented optiplex gx280 spec. 1308.74 with lcd monitor; 1020.30 without (for purchase of 50); @200 cost dropped to 1180 approx. Ramiro will check for better price. Idea is to hold orders until March 24.
March 1 meeting with Gateway to get some demonstration machines
- Standardization of systems
Ramiro presented experience levels of support staff for over 30 software products
Tech subcommittee will examine software expertise and obsolescence
Steve, Ian, Rob are on steering committee to interface
