Charge to the Committee 1998/99
Using the Baseline Access Training and Support (BATS) document as a basis, develop a corollary Technology
Implementation Plan. The Plan should identify specific tasks to be undertaken, the resources needed to attain
the desired outcomes, time-frames for reaching goals, and methodologies to assess the process. As part of this
process an annual report must be generated for the CSU.
Revised Charge to the Committee 2002/03
The Technology Advisory Council will advise the Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs and Information Resources & Technology on
campus-wide technology acquisition and use. Using the CSUSB Technology Strategic Plan and other appropriate campus
and system policy documents, BATS will undertake specific tasks to encourage and assess technology use. BATS will
coordinate efforts with the campus-wide technician committee and other appropriate individuals and groups. BATS
may establish sub-committees and task forces for special projects. BATS will generate an annual report and make
recommendations to the University Budget Committee.
The Committee is an advisory body to the Provost and the
IRT Vice President as well as a sub committee of the Technology Advisory
Council (TAC). TACs website is http://irt.csusb.edu/tac/.
